I was particularly intrigued by your analysis of Lord Acton&#039;s quote (my comments in parenthesis):

&quot;Power corrupts (but whom does it corrupt? The powerful or the followers?). Absolute power corrupts absolutely.&quot; Are we so completely drawn to the cult of personality that we will forgive nearly *everything* as we watch in awe of our hero.

Powerful stuff, Jim. But I promise I won&#039;t let it corrupt me. :)

On another note, I just bought Thomas Sowell&#039;s Economic Facts and Fallacies. I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll have something to say about it soon enough.</description>
