I was particularly intrigued by your analysis of Lord Acton's quote (my comments in parenthesis):

"Power corrupts (but whom does it corrupt? The powerful or the followers?). Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Are we so completely drawn to the cult of personality that we will forgive nearly *everything* as we watch in awe of our hero.

Powerful stuff, Jim. But I promise I won't let it corrupt me. :)

On another note, I just bought Thomas Sowell's Economic Facts and Fallacies. I'm sure I'll have something to say about it soon enough.</description>
